Teenage Mutant Ninja Dragons-Raphael by JangoFett1138 Teenage Mutant Ninja Dragons-Raphael by JangoFett1138
Part 2 of my Ninja Dragons Series

Raphael is the resident hothead of his brothers and the team's anti-hero. He's impatient and hot tempered and prefers to rush into battle instead of thinking things through. He tends to butt heads with his brothers (especially Leonardo) and can come off as a bully. Raphael's greatest weakness is his anger, which tends to get the better of him and cause him to go berserk (you don't want to be near his Sais, because he won't hesitate to stab). He also tends to be a loner but despite his flaws, he does care deeply for his family and will defend them. Also, because of his sheltered life with his Master Splinter and his brothers, Raphael doesn't really trust a lot of ponies (at least not at first). While he loves reading old magazines and comic books, Raphael loves nothing more than a good fight and spends his spare time honing his strength, since his greatest strength is his brute force. Expect him to throw the first punch and stab first, ask questions when he gives a shit.

Age: 15

I wouldn't want to be on his bad side!
Another great pose! You do really well on the perspective and fore-shortening in action poses, and that's not an easy thing (in my experience anyway).

Raphael: You're damn right you don't want to be on my bad side. Now leave me alone. I don't trust a someone who's biggest sexual fantasy is a child murdering dictator.

Glad you liked the pose. I was able to find a good reference picture so it came easy. The only problem is that I seem to have a problem with symmetry (one arm tends to be bigger than the other in one way or another). Also, the fact that I got through all this just by finding some pictures and drawing over and over again makes me regret spending so much money on art school. Then again, while most people draw and write for fun, this is actually something I want to do for a living. The one thing they never tell you is that if you want to be an artist, you have to starve.

Thanks again

It's not the character Raphael, but the actor behind him.

You only get better with practice. Keep it up!

Raphael: Right. You trying to convince me or yourself? Now get your own rooftop before I lose my patience.
Donatello: First of all, Raph, you don't have any patience.
Leonardo: And second, she's trying to be our friend.
Raphael: Well excuse me for being skeptical.

Thanks.
